Online Christian Courses (OCC)
Remote | Part-Time Employee (requires some evening and weekend work)
Position Overview
Online Christian Courses (OCC) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Course Administrator to manage and support the successful development, launch, and delivery of our online courses.
You will be the representative of OCC for the courses you are assigned; coordinating at all points between instructors, students, and internal teams. This position is responsible for ensuring that each course meets or exceeds OCC’s standards of quality in education and service as well as mission orientation. So, a Godly demeanor is key!
Key Responsibilities
1. Course Build & Launch Coordination
- Manage timelines and workflows for assigned course(s) to ensure on time launches
- Coordinate with instructors during course development to keep projects on track
- Build and organize course content within the platform (Thinkific)
- Edit, upload, and format instructor-provided materials
- Collaborate with marketing to support course promotions and launches
2. Course Administration (During Active Courses)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for students and instructors
- Monitor course activity and support engagement within the platform
- Respond to general student inquiries and technical issues
- Ensure instructors are aware of and responding to course-related questions
3. Zoom Session Management
- Schedule and coordinate live Zoom sessions
- Support instructors during sessions by:
- Managing participant flow
- Moderating chat and Q&A
- Sharing links and resources
- Record and upload sessions for student access
4. Student Progress & Records
- Maintain course gradebooks and track student progress
- Issue certificates upon course completion
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in student records
5. Quality Control & Student Experience
- Provide excellent customer service to students and instructors
- Ensure all communications are handled promptly and professionally
- Identify and resolve issues to improve the course experience
- Continuously evaluate and improve course processes and systems
6. Cross-Team Coordination
- Collaborate with internal teams (OCC, CrossExamined, Impact Apologetics)
- Ensure all departments receive necessary course information on schedule
- Help maintain consistency in course branding, messaging, and quality
Qualifications
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills in a remote work environment
- Comfortable handling fast-paced, high-expectation responsibilities
- Understanding of Marketing research and analytics
- Technically proficient or willing to learn tools such as:
- Thinkific
- Monday.com
- Zoom
- SharePoint
- Google Docs/Forms
- Kit
- Canva
- Familiarity with apologetics or Christian theology strongly preferred
- Alignment with a Christian worldview and the mission of OCC
