Position Summary

The Strategic Marketing Projects Manager supports the ministry’s growth by coordinating and executing marketing initiatives that involve external organizations and multi-channel distribution. This role translates strategic collaborations, such as those with Brave Books, Pray.com, radio stations, and other media outlets, into actionable projects that advance CrossExamined’s reach and impact.

Working closely with the Creative Services, Online Christian Course and IT teams, this individual manages timelines, assets, and deliverables to ensure every campaign and content rollout aligns with CrossExamined’s brand, message, and mission. The role combines project management, creative coordination, and marketing execution, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities

1. Project Coordination and Implementation

  • Manage the onboarding, planning, and execution of marketing projects and campaigns involving external platforms and partners.
  • Translate strategic agreements into organized timelines, task lists, and deliverables for internal and external teams.
  • Oversee the production and delivery of all creative and digital assets, including graphics, videos, emails, website updates, and course materials.
  • Manage timelines and creative deliverables for collaborations such as Brave Books, Pray.com, and other outreach partners.
  • Coordinate with partner marketing teams to align assets, calendars, and promotional strategies.
  • Ensure all distributed materials meet brand and theological standards.

2. Creative Contribution

  • Collaborate with designers, video editors, and content creators to develop compelling visuals and messaging for ministry campaigns and events.
  • Offer creative input and feedback during planning and production to enhance storytelling, engagement, and visual impact.
  • Contribute hands-on creative support for special projects, including promotional video clips, digital ads, and social media content.

3. Workflow Systems and Efficiency

  • Implement and maintain project management tools (e.g., Monday.com) to track active projects, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Maintain visibility across multiple teams to ensure smooth coordination and on-time completion.
  • Identify workflow bottlenecks and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and turnaround time.

4. Analytics, Reporting, and Optimization

  • Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Pray.com dashboard) to monitor campaign and content performance.
  • Provide post-project reports summarizing key results, insights, and recommendations.
  • Use performance data and partner feedback to refine strategies and improve future campaigns’ reach and ROI.

5. Collaboration and Communication

  • Communicate clearly and consistently with internal teams and external partners to ensure expectations and deadlines are met.
  • Support leadership with special projects, new initiatives, and partnership expansions.
  • Maintain organized project files, version histories, and communication records for all collaborative initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in marketing project management, campaign coordination, or creative operations.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (Monday.com or similar) and marketing analytics platforms.
  • Familiarity with digital content production and distribution workflows (web, social, podcast, video, email).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive problem-solver.
  • Alignment with CrossExamined’s mission and Christian values.
